An exceptional quality Rose Absolute oil, 100% natural, pure, organic.
Our Damascus Rose Absolute is an organic product extracted from the delicate petals of Rosa Damascena flowers, grown exclusively in the “Valley of Roses” in Bulgaria. Our product has a sweet, deep, antique, very floral scent, with a warm and honeyed hue and green-citrus notes that appear in the dry-down.
Extraction method: cold, with organic solvents (fixed oils, pure alcohol, without hexane). This is where the difference between absolute and essential oil comes into play. The absolute is extracted cold with organic solvents, while the essential oil is obtained by distillation, which involves the use of heat and thus the deterioration of part of the plant’s properties. Due to the softer and more complex extraction method, similar to the ancient “enfleurage” method, the quality, concentration, fidelity and persistence of the product are higher. The difference is also seen in the color of the final result, being a much more vibrant one.
